What made you want to be a student ambassador?

I think I was initially introduced to like the whole program through our research methods class. She was like, “If you're like super extroverted and you want to get paid, do this program” and like I'm not super extroverted, but I thought it would be like a good opportunity to meet people who were interested in Public Health & Society.

What's been your favorite class so far?

I feel like a lot of the public health classes, they overall cover like very similar like concepts, but they approach them in different ways. Like Public Health 1000 and 3100, they both covered the history of ethical research and different studies that are prevalent in public health. But I feel like Jill's class focuses on, like, new concepts like food safety. I’m excited to take the class.

What is one thing you're looking forward to?

I'm excited for the APEX (Advanced Practical Experience in Public Health) portion of like getting the major because I feel like that's pretty new. APEX seems to me like real world public health. Like what I would do if I was a professional in public health. That’s pretty exciting.
