Student Ambassador Program

Our Student Ambassador Program

Our Public Health & Society student ambassadors are passionate about public health and eager to make a difference on campus and in the community. Ambassadors are both undergraduate and graduate students with an academic interest in public health and a desire to support and shape the development of the new Public Health & Society program and its curriculum.

This inaugural cohort is creating a lasting impact on the educational experience of future students through gathering and sharing peer data on curriculum structure and new courses, intentionally seeking out diverse voices and perspectives. Ambassadors will also develop and coordinate events and content that raise the visibility and awareness of our new program and build enthusiasm for general public health engagement on our campus.

I chose public health because it offers a chance to explore all the factors that collectively shape our health before we step foot in a hospital or clinic. WashU's new Public Health and Society major is incredibly exciting because it provides a range of opportunities that can be tailored to each student's unique interdisciplinary interests.
