Public Health & Society is pleased to welcome Dr. Bree Bode for "Advancing the 10 Essential Public Health Services Through Collaboration."
Bree Bode engages in community-based activities to elevate solutions that address social drivers of health, especially political and commercial drivers related to food justice. She has a special interest in policy and system variables that influence food choices of children and families in retail and school-based environments. Foundational to her work are formative lived experiences with poverty and socially supportive programs which inform her collaborative public health work and aspirations for effective, sustainable systems change.
Bode received her Doctoral degree from Wayne State University with an emphasis in Community Health.
